Deep River Saints’ forthcoming album, “A Good Place to Die,” is country-rock that reaches into realms of dark western tragedies, heartfelt Americana, and strung-out roadtrips. Throughout, the rooted sounds are swept with elements of psychedelia that creates a vast world where each song establishes its own claim on a tiny piece of earth where one wonders, “would this be a good place to die?”

Deep River Saints, splitting time between Vermont and New Hampshire, is a partnership of singer/songwriter Patrick J Crowley and guitarist/producer David William Ross, who have been playing music together since they were kids. Their previous album, “For Posterity” was called “a colossally impressive record” by Vermont’s Seven Days newspaper.
